Overview
A Crossdot puzzle starts as a grid of empty cells. Your goal is to find the hidden picture, using logic to determine which cells to color. The numbers outside the grid are clues that help you figure out what to color in each row and column.

A puzzle in progress
This popular logic puzzle is known by many names, including Nonogram, Paint by Number, Griddler, Picross, Pic-a-Pix, Hanjie and many others. To add to the glorious chaos we’ve chosen our own name: Crossdots.
We offer a wide range of puzzle sizes. Some might prefer to use an iPad for the larger puzzles, and we totally get that. But if you don’t have an iPad, worry not. With Crossdot’s unique locking mechanism, we’ve found that we can conquer any size puzzle, even on the iPhone or iPod Touch. Go ahead and give it a try.
Good luck and have fun!

Hints
With version 1.2 we spelled out most of the advanced features in the help file. So this list got shorter than it used to be.
- You can scroll the puzzle from the clues. Use this to scroll only vertically or only horizontally, which might be better for working with really large puzzles on a small device. This also means you can perform this neat trick: long press on a cell, wait for the flash, then with another finger scroll the puzzle from the clues. This lets you fill in a longer-than-the-screen row or column with one drag.
- Double tap the clues of a row or column to cross out all the empty cells. You don’t have to have every cell filled in for this to work, but you do have to have all the clues solved and punctuated. (This hint is actually in the help files.)
- Tap in the puzzle thumbnail in the upper left corner to see the puzzle title. You can also see the title again on a solved puzzle by tapping once on the solved picture.
